17-19 (Wed-Thu) G20 Africa Infrastructure Investment Cnoference at the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, London. Organized by Times Publications and Corporate Africa magazine, the conference says it is hosted “under the patronage of” African Union president, Yayi Boni, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Counseil des Investisseurs Français en Afrique (CIAN). It will look at investments and project finance to bridge gaps in primary infrastructure and bring key investors from BRICS economies with strong specialization in areas of infrastructure targeted for investment funds such as oil and gas, agriculture, mining, electric power, water and sewage, transport, and building construction. The conference will include four workshops on relations between a BRIC economy and Africa (including South Africa) in workshops, plenary sessions, and panels, it will also cover major infrastructure projects and a potential BRICS Bank.
